4th year PhD Student

About Me

I am a fourth-year PhD student in the Neuroscience Graduate Program, UCSD, advised by Prof. Gal Mishne and working closely with Prof. Vikash Gilja. My research interest lies at the intersection of Neuroscience and Data Science, with a focus on leveraging geometric structures in neural trajectories to design better BCI systems.

Prior to this, I completed my dual degree from IIT Madras, earning a Bachelors’ in Biological Engineering and Master’s in Data Science. I was fortunate to have Prof. Srinivasa Chakravarthy as my undergraduate advisor, who introduced me to the field of Computational Neuroscience. I also had the wonderful oppotunity to work with Prof. Ganapathy Krishnamurthi in the field of Medical Image Processing and Prof. Karthik Raman in the field of Computational Systems Biology.
